AFGHANISTAN-UNREST-NATO-TROOPS-NETHERLANDS
Local workers (L) gather at the Dutch military base in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan, 16 September 2006. Some 80 local workers are daily coming to the Dutch base to work. They are employed by local building contractors who get contracts from the Dutch defence. Before they can start working they have to be checked throroughly so they can not take drugs, file carriers, weapons or any other forbidden items into the Dutch militairy camp.
