MIDEAST-ISRAEL-EITAM-GULFSTREAM-AIR FORCE
The Israeli Air Force's first Eitam aircraft taxis on a runway as it approaches a ceremony at the Lod Air Force Base in central Israel, 19 September 2006. The Eitam aircraft is the first of it's kind in the Israeli Air Force after Israeli technicians modified a civilian Gulfstream G550 jet to function as a long range radar hub, effectively extending the range of the Israeli military's command and control capabilities.
