IRAQ-UNREST-ATTACK
Smoke rises from the site where an explosion in central Baghdad wounded two Iraqi army soldiers 26 September 2006. Iraq is in the grip of a bloody sectarian conflict between rival militias. The United Nations estimates that more than 100 people are killed every day in attacks by death squads and militant groups.
