(FILES) French luxury goods group Pinault-Printemps-La Redoute (PPR) CEO François-Henri Pinault gives a press conference announcing the 2005 financial results, 09 March 2006 in Paris. Goldman Sachs and UBS have approached at least four investment funds about buying PPR unit FNAC amid expectations the French retailer is poised to sell the unit, even though the banks have not been formally hired by PPR for such a project, the French daily Les Echos said 27 September 2006.
