ROMANIA-FRANCOPHONIE-SUMMIT
French President Jacques Chirac (C) speaks Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso (L) and Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo (R), 28 September 2006, in Bucharest, during the opening of 11th summit of the International Francophone Organisation (OIF). A two-day summit of French-speaking nations being held for the first time in an eastern European country will centre on new communications technologies and education, and stress the need for a multicultural conception of the world.
