EL SALVADOR-CHAPARRASTIQUE VOLCANO
Firemen, soldiers, firts-aiders and citizens listen directions of authorities during a simulated eruption of the Chaparrastique volcano in Las Placitas, Department of San Miguel, El Salvador, 134 km east from the capital, 14 October 2006. Authorities are keeping the area under alert after registering an increasement in the volcanic activity. Classes have been suspended in 42 schools in prevention of a possible eruption.
