WTO-SWITZERLAND-IRAQ
Ahmad al-Mukhtar,Ahmad al-Mukhtar, a senior trade official at Iraq-s Governing Council, gives a press conference 11 February 2004 at the WTO headquarters in Geneva. Iraq was granted observer status at the World Trade Organisation today, a first milestone in the long road to joining the 146-member group and reviving its foreign trade.
