WTO-SWITZERLAND-IRAQ
Ahmad al-Mukhtar (2nd L), a senior trade official at Iraq-s Governing Council, answers reporters- questions 11 February 2004 at the WTO headquarters in Geneva. Iraq was granted observer status at the World Trade Organisation today, a first milestone in the long road to joining the 146-member group and reviving its foreign trade.
