A trader transact business on the telephone at the Philippine Stock Exchange at the financial district of Makati suburban Manila, 26 October 2006. Philippine share prices closed 0.16 percent higher on 26 October lifted by sharp gains in index heavyweight, Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co., dealers said.
