Russian steel maker Severstal set the price range on Monday 30 October 2006 for its part initial public offering on the London stock exchange, indirectly valuing the whole company at 10.24-12.57 billion dollars (13.03-16.0 billion euros). The sale, of 10-15 percent of the company, would raise 1.02-1.88 billion dollars for the group.
