Israeli soldiers exit the Gaza Strip through a fence that divides Israel from the Palestinian territory, near the Israeli Kibutz Ein Shlosha 31 October 2006, after a military operation inside the Palestinian territory. Three members of the armed wing of ruling Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, all brothers, were shot dead by Israeli troops in the southern Gaza Strip today, Palestinian security officials said. An Israeli army spokesman said troops opened fire on Palestinian gunmen who were laying explosives on a road east of Khan Yunis.
