CHINA-AFRICA-SUMMIT-ARRIVE

China is hosting the leaders of over 40 African nations for a historic summit that will showcase the Asian giant's growing diplomatic power and highlight its global quest for natural resources and is being hailed as the highest-profile international gathering here since the founding of the Communist regime in 1949, and will see some of the biggest and most controversial names here from Africa.
