LIBYA-BULGARIA-TRIAL-AIDS
Libyan security guards stand in front of the dock during the trial of five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor accused of infecting hundreds of Libyan children with HIV at a Libyan court in Tripoli 04 November 2006. The verdict in the retrial of the six medics will be delivered on December 19, the court announced. Present in court for today's session were the nurses and doctor, who worked at a hospital in the northeastern city of Benghazi, allegedly infected 426 children with HIV -- 52 of whom have since died of AIDS.
