US Army Staff Sgt. Keith Williams (L), Spcl. Danny Laakmann (C) and Sgt. Thomas Redding, all of the 401 MP (Military Police) Company, 720 MP Battalion, based at the 4th Infantry Division headquarters in Tikrit, storm into a house in search for weapons after fire shots were heard in this neighborhood in the town of Samarra, 125 kilometers (75 miles) north of Baghdad, 14 February 2004. The patrol discovered that a boy shot a small caliber rifle at birds. Iraq-s interim Governing Council will be handed sovereignty over the country on June 30 if no elections are held by then to form a transitional government, Iraq Governing Council Member Jalal Talabani said after a meeting with Iraq-s top Shiite cleric, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.
