TURKEY-ACCIDENT

At least 33 people were injured today in a huge pile-up involving 104 vehicles on a major highway near Istanbul, media reports said. The crashes occurred along a 10-kilometer (six-mile) stretch of the busy TEM highway between Istanbul and Edirne, Turkey's westernmost province bordering Bulgaria and Greece, as thick fog reduced visibility to just a few meters.
