Former Basque regional presidents Jose Antonio Ardanza (C, R) and Carlos Garaikoetxea (C, L) chat, as about 700 elected politicians from the ruling Basque Nationalist Party, Eusko Alkartasuna and Ezker Batua parties sign a manifesto entitled "Democracy and the exercise of politics commitment" to support current Basque president Juan Jose Ibarretxe, 18 November 2006 in the northern Spanish Basque town of Guernica.
