Pallbearers carry the coffin of French actor Philippe Noiret out of the Sainte-Clotilde basilica, 27 November 2006 in Paris, after his funeral. Philippe Noiret, died last 23 November, after a long illness at the age of 76. One of the leading French actors of his generation, Noiret appeared in about 125 films and won his first Cesar -- the French equivalent of an Oscar -- for the film "Vieux Fusil" (The Old Gun) in 1976.
