NASA Administrator Michael Griffin watches the solid rocket booster separation from firing room four during the launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery 09 December 2006 in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Discovery launched on NASA’s second attempt and is embarking on a twelve day mission and its the first night launch since the Columbia accident.
