SWEDEN-NOBEL-PEACE-PRIZE-MATHER-CARL GUSTAF
John C. Mather receives the Nobel Prize in Physics 2006 from King Carl Gustaf of Sweden during the Nobel award ceremony in Stockholm's Concert Hall, Sweden, 10 December 2006. Mather, 60, an astrophysicist at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, shares the prize with George Smoot, 61, an astrophysicist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in Berkeley, California.
