BRITAIN-SEX-MURDER-SUSPECTS
An undated picture obtained 18 December 2006 from the social networking website Myspace, shows 37 year-old Tom Stephens. According to British media reports, police arrested Stephens Monday on suspicion of murdering five prostitutes in the small town of Ipswich in a high-profile, serial-killer case that has gripped the nation. Police have refused to name the man arrested, but at the weekend the Sunday Mirror ran an interview with Stephens in which he claimed he had been questioned four times, but strenuously denied being behind the murders.
