BULGARIA-PROTEST
Bulgarian protesters shout anti-government slogans during a rally in downtown Sofia, 21 December 2006. Hundreds of pensioners and nationalists gathered to protest against the government and its decision to postpone the date of increasing the pensions from 01 January 2007 to 01 July 2007, though Bulgaria is set to join the EU bloc the beginning of the next year.
