CORRECTION-NLD-SEALS
Young baby seals are uinloaded 02 January 2006 in the Seal Rehabilitation Centre Pieterburen. More than 40 young sealpups were found last weekend on and around the beaches and the Waddenzee due to the stormy weather and the high water level. These young pups were washed away from the sandbanks and lost their mothers. In the first three weeks of the sealpups life they have a thick white babycoat with which they cannot swim well, after they will get their definitive coat. The seals will be rehabilitated in Pieterburen when they are strong enough they will get released back into the wild. AFP PHOTO EVERT-JAN DANIELS
