NETHERLANDS-LOPPERSUM-CITIZANSHIP-BEKKER
93-Years old Gerda Bekker-Ten Damme (R) receives Dutch citizenship, for the second time, the ceremony was officiated by A. Rodenboog (L), the mayor of Loppersum on 04 January 2007. Although Ms. Bekker-Ten Damme was born in the Dutch town of Winterswijk in 1913 with a Dutch citizenship, by marring a German and receiving a German passport, she was obliged to renounce her own citizenship.
