CHILE-PRIVATEER-ADRIFT
Picture released by the Chilean Navy 04 January, 2006 taken from a Chilean Navy surveillance plane of dismasted yacht Privateer sailing adrift west of Cape Horn. Manned single-handed by US seaman Ken Barnes, the Privateer set sail last 28 October from Long Beach, California, for New Zealand and West Hawai, planning to get back to the US next April.
