The coffin of Italian producer Carlo Ponti is carried out of at San Martin church 12 January 2007 in Magenta, Northern Italian town near Milan, were the producer was born 94 years ago. Ponti, a producer who was known both for classic films such as "Doctor Zhivago" and for his long marriage with Italian film star Sophia Loren, died 10 January 2007 in a hospital in Geneva.
