GEORGIA-SOUTH-OSSETIA-MANDARINE
Frozen mandarines are seen near trucks on the outskirts of the Ergneti village in the South Ossetia, 12 January 2007. Scores of Georgian trucks hauling cargos of tangerines, which were blocked on the trans-Caucasus highway, left the border with Russia overnight 09 January 2007 after a five-day standoff. The truckers, some of whom had camped out on the road for about 20 days, were demanding to take their produce to Russia despite a suspension of Russian imports of Georgian tangerines imposed by Russian authorities in July 2006.
