GOLDEN GLOBES-CARRADINE

The DPA gifting lounge is not associated with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) which puts on the Golden Globes. In response to the new US taxes laws, the HFPA has decided to say goodbye to lavish gift boxes for Golden Globes presenters and nominees, instead deciding to offering all audience members, including A-list presenters with the same ceremony bag, worth less than USD500, well below the USD11,000 limit set by the IRS on gifting before a tax liability kicks in, according to an article in USA Today.
