Heinrich von Pierer, chairman of the supervisory board of German electronics giant Siemens, talks to journalists as he arrives for the company's annual general meeting 25 January 2007 in Munich, southern Germany. Management was expected to face angry questions about the current corruption probe and the collapse of the group's former mobile phones business. The shareholders meeting coincided with the group's first-quarter results publication in the morning, as Siemens reported profits set back at the last minute by a record fine by the European Commission.
