EL SALVADOR-IRAQ-TROOPS
A Salvadorean soldier of the Cuscatlan Battalion's 8th Contingent carries a white flag as he and his comrades walk to board a plane outbound for Iraq 30 January 2007, at the Comalapa air base in San Salvador. An eighth contingent of 380 soldiers of the elite battalion will be deployed to Iraq to relieve a previous group stationed in Al-Kut.
