US-ART-SPERBER
A sculpture made of 425 spools of thread seen through an acrylic viewing sphere titled "After the Mona Lisa 1" by artist Devorah Sperber on display at the Brooklyn Museum 31 January 2007. Sperber recreates masterpieces by making computer generated pixilated diagrams and then substitutes colored spools of thread for the pixels. AFP PHOTO/Timothy A. CLARY
