Director of India's Institute of Plasma Research (IPR) P.K.Kaw briefs media representatives at the institute in Gandhinagar, 09 February 2007. The IPR is India's premier institute which is part of world's most ambitious nuclear fusion power project, International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). European Science and Research Commissioner Janez Potocnik visited IPR to witness nuclear fusion technology developed by the Institute through its two Tokamak - Aditya and Steadystate Superconducting Tokamak (SST-1).
