TAIWAN-CHINA-US-POLITICS-COMPANY
A woman walks past an ATM branch of Chunghwa Post in Taipei, 11 February 2007. Chunghwa Post Co. is due to change its name to "Taiwan Post Co." 12 February in a controversial move which has raised US concerns. Changing the names of state-run firms was pushed by independence-leaning President Chen Shui-bian as part his efforts to create a Taiwanese identity separate from mainland China.
