A German court ruled on 15 February 2007 that German-US auto giant DaimlerChrysler informed the markets in due time about the resignation of its chief executive Juergen Schrempp at the end of 2005. DaimlerChrysler had been accused by investors of not informing the markets early enough of Schrempp's plans to leave the company at the end of 2005, as the announcement, made on 28 July 2005, sparked a massive rise in DaimlerChrysler shares.
