FRANCE-FOOD-MICHELIN
Photo taken 09 October 1992 of French chief Jacques Lameloise posing in front of his restaurant in Chagny. Five French chefs were awarded three Michelin stars 21 February 2001 : Yannick Alleno of Le Meurice; Frederic Anton of Le Pre Catelan; Pascal Barbot of L'Astrance, all in Paris; Anne-Sophie Pic of La Maison Pic in Valence and Jacques Lameloise of Chagny in Saone-et-Loire. The Michelin guide, which is set to go on sale on 26 February 2007, counts 65 two-star establishments, including seven newcomers, and 436 one-star wonders, including 50 new arrivals to the list.
