PAKISTAN-IRAN-INDIA-GAS
Pakistan's Petroleum Secretary Ahmad Waqar (C), Indian Secretary for Petroleum and Natural Gas M. S. Srinivasan (L) and Iranian General Manager Gas Marketing and Sales, National Iranian Gas Export Company (NIGEC) Fattah Bayatani (R) join hands prior to a meeting in Islamabad, 23 February 2007. Indian and Iranian officials are in Islamabad to discuss constructing a long-awaited multi-billion dollar gas pipeline from Iran through Pakistan, while the Iranian delegation headed by Bayatani attended the meeting as an observer.
