The four foreigners were snatched when MEND fighters raided an oil facility belonging to Agip on the Brass field in the southern delta state of Bayelsa. Rome called on Italians working in the Niger Delta to be pulled out Friday after two technicians were abducted by armed men near the southern Nigerian oil capital of Port Harcourt, the ANSA news agency reported 23 February 2007.
