ROMANIA-US-PAEDOPHILIA-DRACULA
Kurt Treptow, an American historian serving a sentence for sexually abusing minors in Romania, leaves the prison in Iasi city, 400km north of Bucharest 27 February 2007. Treptow was released two years early thanks to writing a book on Dracula while in jail. The 44-year-old man penned the 400-page book on the life of the 15th Century Romanian prince who was the inspiration for the Dracula story while serving his seven year sentence, his lawyer Liviu Bran said.
