FRANCE-POLITICS-HOUSING
French social housing activists of the DAL (Droit au Logement - Right to Housing) demonstrate on a Paris street closeby the headquarters of France's right-wing presidential candidate Nicolas Sarkozy, 01 March 2007, holding a poster reading "100 million Francs subsidies for the Jatte island (In Neuilly sur seine) : it's not for public housing". Sarkozy was given a discount of at least 300,000 euros on the purchase of a flat in the affluent Paris suburb of Neuilly, of which he was mayor at the time, according to the Canard Enchaine satirical weekly published 28 February 2007.
