BELGIUM-EU-SUMMIT
Germany's Federal chancellor Angela Merkel (L), whose country currently holds the European Union presidency receives Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek ahead of an EU summit on climate change at the EU headquarters in Brussels 08 March 2007. European Union leaders gathered in Brussels today seeking a landmark accord to fight climate change amid divisions over the best way to choke off greenhouse gases.
