GUATEMALA-US-BUSH-IXIMCHE-PREPARATIONS
Indigenous men put finishing retouches to a welcoming carpet entering Ixinche's Ceremonial Civic Centre, in the municipality of Tecpan, department of Chimaltenango, 80kms west of Guatemala City, during preparations for the impending visit of US President George W. Bush. Bush will be arriving in Guatemala Sunday night after a one-day visit to Colombia, as violent protests continued to rock his goodwill tour of Latin America.
