CYCLING-FRA-PARIS-NICE-LAURENT-VELASCO
French Christophe Laurent (R-Credit Agricole/Fra) and Spanish Ivan Velasco (L-Euskatel/Spa) ride in the leading pack, during the first stage of the 65th edition of the Paris/Nice cycling race between Cloyes-sur-Le-Loir and Buzancais, 12 March 2007. French Jean-Patrick Nazon (AG2R) won the stage ahead German Sebastian Siedler (Team Milram/Ita) and Australian Mathew Hayman (Rabobank/Ned). Nazon surprised a host of big name rivals, including Belgian Tom Boonen and Daniele Bennati of Italy, to finish the 186 km stage with his first victory of the season. AFP PHOTO FRANCK FIFE
