Some 4,500 NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) troops backed by some 1,000 Afghan security forces launched their biggest combained operation "Achilles" to crash Taliban militants, their other Islamic allies mainly Al-Qaeda-linked Islamists and drug traffickers in northern part of restive Helmand province where the rebels have massed in the recent months.
