FRANCE-TRANSPORT-RAIL-TGV
French President Jacques Chirac (R) looks on as President of the Reseau Ferre de France, or French Railway Infrastructure Manager, Hubert Du Mesnil, delivers a speech, 15 March 2007 in Paris to mark the inauguration of the eastward high-speed train line. The line will link Paris to Strasbourg, eastern France, in two hours and 20 minutes instead of three hours and 50 minutes and commercial trafic will start with TGV (High Speed Train) on June 10, 2007.
