SWEDEN-ITALY-HELICOPTER-CRASH
Picture taken 22 march 2007 shows the wreckage of a Eurocopter Gazelle helicopter that crashed during tests on a field outside Broby Gard, west of Nykoping, Sweden, 22 March 2007. Two Italians miraculously got away with minor injuries. According to the Swedish ARCC (Air Rescue Control Centre) the helicopter's engine stopped (probably due to fuel starvation) and the pilots attempted to auto-rotate the helicopter to a safe landing when something went wrong.
