IRAQ-US-MEDIA
Twenty-year-old Iraqi Shiite Muslim Donia peers from behind US soldiers during the launching ceremony of the Independent Radio and Television Network (IRTN) sponsored by the US embassy, 25 March 2007 in Buhruz, Diyala province northeast of Baghdad. Donia the main anchor of IRTN is one of the two Iraqi Shiites who brought back to life, along with two Sunni compatriots, the Saddam era radio station which they claim they want to make it "the voice of sectarian reconciliation unity and freedom in the central part of Iraq". The station was rebuilt with the help of the US Embassy's Public Affairs Outreach Team (GO). AFP PHOTO/PATRICK BAZ
