GERMANY-FAIR-NORD STREAM-GAZPROM-SCHROEDER
Former German Chancellor and manager of the gaz supply company Nord Stream AG Gerhard Schroeder (L) talks to Irina Vasilyeva of Nord Stream Moscow at the just opened Hannover Messe industrial technology fair, 16 April 2007 in Hanover, western Germany. Until 20 April, exhibitors from all over the world will present their latest industrial technologies, materials and product ideas. Nord Stream is a joint project of the companies Gazprom, Wintershall AG/BASF and E.ON Ruhrgas and is to build a 1200-kilometre-long off-shore natural gas pipeline stretching through the Baltic Sea.
