PHILIPPINES-US-AID-PEOPLE-MISSING
US Peace Corps director Ronald Tschetter announces at a press conference 18 April 2007 at the US Embassy in Manila a 10,000 US dollar reward for information to help the authorities find Julia Campbell, a Peace Corps volunteer who went missing on a northern Philippines mountain trail around Easter Sunday on 08 April. The offer was contained in flyers circulated around Batad, a picturesque mountain village of amphitheater-like terraced mountain sides planted for rice, where a team of 80 Filipino rescuers using tracker dogs and military helicopters are searching for the 40 year old English teacher and aid worker.
