MIDEAST-ISRAEL-US-VIRGINIA TECH-FUNERAL
Flowers lay over the grave of Romanian born Holocaust survivor Liviu Librescu, who was killed in the Virginia Tech University shootings, following his funeral held in the Israeli city of Raanana, 20 April 2007. The 76-year-old Jewish professor, who protected some 20 students in the 16th April US school shooting, was buried in Israel today as dozens of people gathered to pay their last respects.
