AFGHANISTAN-CHINA-MEDIA-STUDENTS-ARNETT-PEOPLE
This handout recently received from former CNN reporter Peter Arnett shows him posing with terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden in March, 1997 after a television interview for CNN at Tora Bora, Afghanistan. For Arnett, who won America's highest journalistic prize in 1966 for reports from Vietnam for the Associated Press, teaching journalism in China - known as much for its human rights abuses as it is as host of the 2008 Olympics - is simply another assignment in a long career. Arnett is currently teaching journalism for four months at China's Shantou University as a visiting lecturer. RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE AFP PHOTO/HO
