An Africa Union peacekeeper from Uganda patrols the international sea Port in Mogadishu 08 May 2007. The chairman of the AU and president of Ghana John Kufuor, has revealed that the African Union (AU) will send an extra 8,000 peacekeepers to Somalia but said dialogue remained the only solution to end the bloody conflict in that country.
